IWU students enjoy Fall Break

Fall break is this upcoming weekend and students are anticipating a break.

Sofia Schroeter is on the women’s basketball team.

“The basketball team is able to go home for break unlike most of the fall sports. I am really excited to spend time at home with my family,” Schroter said.

Madison Werk-Spitzer also said that she is going home.

“The majority of students go home on fall break if they are able to and that it is a much needed break to be able to relax,” Werk-Spitzer said.

Avery Caskey, who is on the women’s volleyball team has a different story.

“Being a volleyball player I have to stay on campus for fall break, because we have games throughout the weekend,” Caskey said.

For all the students who are in sports or are staying on campus on break there will still be RA’s on duty.

“There will be an RA on duty in the dorms, there is usually an RA on duty the first couple days and then another RA the last two days,” Carmin Hall RA Catherine Auffhammer said.

Either way if the student is staying on campus or going away, everyone said fall break will be a nice break from school.
